Esta planta est\u00e1 situada en 100 kil\u00f3metros al su de Frankfurt, cerca de la frontera que separa Alemania y Francia. Cuenta (o contaba) con un reactor de 1.468 megavatios.<\/p>\n<p>No es (o era) la planta m\u00e1s antigua del pa\u00eds. En el mismo lugar funcionaba un reactor m\u00e1s viejo, el Philippsburg 1, que dej\u00f3 de cerr\u00f3 en 2011, poco despu\u00e9s de que el gobierno alem\u00e1n accediera a dejar de utilizar la energ\u00eda nuclear tras el desastre de la planta Fukushima, en Jap\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\">\n<p>Mira qu\u00e9&nbsp;invento para mejorar el desmantelamiento de las centrales nucleares<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Alemania se ha fijado como objetivo abandonar totalmente la energ\u00eda at\u00f3mica en 2022. Ha elaborado, para ello, un&nbsp;<strong>plan de transici\u00f3n de energ\u00eda que busca reemplazar los combustibles f\u00f3siles y nucleares por fuentes renovables en las siguientes d\u00e9cadas<\/strong>. El primer en dejar de funcionar has sido el de&nbsp;<strong>Ringhals 2, la estaci\u00f3n de mayor tama\u00f1o del pa\u00eds, con m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os de&nbsp;<em>experiencia<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ubicada en el sureste del pa\u00eds, a 65 kil\u00f3metros al sur de Gotemburgo, la planta se clausur\u00f3 de acuerdo con una decisi\u00f3n tomada en 2015 por sus propietarios, el grupo sueco de energ\u00eda Vattenfall y la empresa de servicios alemana Uniper.<\/p>\n<p>Otro pa\u00eds en&nbsp;<em>pleno apag\u00f3n nuclear&nbsp;<\/em>es Suiza. En Navidad&nbsp;anunci\u00f3 el cierre de la central de M\u00fchleberg.
