N\u00fa\u00f1ez de Balboa, situada en Badajoz (Extremadura), cuenta con 1.430.000 paneles solares que conferir\u00e1n a la planta una potencia instalada de 500 MW.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_ad jeg_ad_article jnews_content_inline_ads  \">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>Un a\u00f1o es el tiempo que ha tardado Iberdrola en construir la planta solar fotovoltaica m\u00e1s grande de Europa. La planta, que recibe el nombre<strong>\u00a0N\u00fa\u00f1ez de Balboa<\/strong>, est\u00e1 situada en Badajoz, entre los municipios de Hinojosa del Valle, Usagre y Bienvenida.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la planta<strong>\u00a0ya ha obtenido el permiso de puesta en funcionamiento por parte del Ministerio para la Transici\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica<\/strong>\u00a0y ha comenzado las pruebas de energizaci\u00f3n para Red El\u00e9ctrica de Espa\u00f1a. Una vez finalizado este proceso, la planta comenzar\u00e1 a operar en el primer trimestre de 2020.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\">\n<p>Extremadura constituye actualmente el centro de la estrategia fotovoltaica de Iberdrola y tiene prevista la instalaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 2.000 MW de esta tecnolog\u00eda hasta 2022.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Tras una inversi\u00f3n cercana a los 300 millones de euros,\u00a0<strong>N\u00fa\u00f1ez de Balboa entrar\u00e1 pronto en funcionamiento con 500 MW de potencia instalada.<\/strong>\u00a0La instalaci\u00f3n generar\u00e1 energ\u00eda limpia con capacidad de abastecer a 250.000 personas al a\u00f1o, una poblaci\u00f3n equivalente a la de C\u00e1ceres y Badajoz.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-65145\" src=\"https:\/\/www.energynews.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/cifras.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 726px) 100vw, 726px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.energynews.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/cifras.jpg 726w, https:\/\/www.energynews.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/cifras-300x168.jpg 300w\" alt=\"n\u00fa\u00f1ez de balboa\" width=\"726\" height=\"407\" data-pin-no-hover=\"true\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>1.300 MW en proceso en Extremadura<\/h2>\n<p>Extremadura<strong>\u00a0constituye actualmente\u00a0el centro de la estrategia fotovoltaica de Iberdrola<\/strong>\u00a0y tiene prevista la instalaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 2.000 MW de esta tecnolog\u00eda hasta 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de N\u00fa\u00f1ez de Balboa,<strong>\u00a0otros 1.300 MW renovables est\u00e1n siendo tramitados en territorio extreme\u00f1o por la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/strong>\u00a0Se trata de los proyectos fotovoltaicos Francisco Pizarro (590 MW), ubicado en Torrecillas de la Tiesa; Ceclav\u00edn (328 MW), en Alc\u00e1ntara; Arenales (150 MW), en C\u00e1ceres; Campo Ara\u00f1uelo I, II y III (150 MW), en la comarca de Almaraz; y Majada Alata y San Antonio (50 MW cada una), en Cedillo.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la compa\u00f1\u00eda\u00a0<strong>cuenta todav\u00eda con 300 MW con acceso a la red<\/strong>\u00a0para la proyecci\u00f3n de otro proyecto fotovoltaico.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iberdrola ha llevado a cabo la construcci\u00f3n de la planta solar fotovoltaica m\u00e1s grande de Europa en tan solo un a\u00f1o.
